Ahhh The Great Escape, Brighton’s own little SXSW. This weekend we’ll be playing a trio of shows around the city: Friday 20th 10pm at The Dorset headlining I SEE MONSTERS Alternative Escape lineup, Sat 21st opening up Hot Vox’s showcase 12 midday at The East Street Tap and finally slotted in to a Nick William’s jaw dropping lineup 5:30 at Marwood’s Cafe! And if you cant make any of those beauties then we’ll be streaming our concert live on FB from the Dorset on Friday 20th so keep your ears, eyes, limbs and appendages glued to our FB page for updates!
Here is the sexy artwork for the single ‘It Doesn’t Last Forever’ we released this week! Photo by the fabulous Jen O’Brien and design by our very own Pete Rundle. If you haven’t had a chance to check it out yet have a listen below!
This is our next London show, 29th of April at Camden Proud with fellow Brightonians Team New Band! We also share the stage with Secret Cameras and Gunner Who. Please click here to go to the FB page and click on going, and you can get your tickets here. A measly £5 before 10pm for 4 cracking bands, sounds like a no brainer to me. This evening is being put on by the lovely HotVox, to find a little bit more about what they do click here. See you all there!
Our next London show at The Finsbury Pub with Isaac Lee-Kronick and Rozelle… Going to be an absolute cracker, so get your free tickets here for guaranteed entry as we can only fit so many of you handsome lads and ladys in!
And for you Brightoners we have a lovely free headline show at the Bee’s Mouth this Sunday 20th of March at 10pm, having been moved from Velvet Jacks.
We’ll be playing with that fantastically talented Mike Newsham, Robbie Skitmore and the Berlin based Panter, who feature the very cool Jeanette who has helped us out a lot with shows in Berlin. So see you there!
This is our first full band show of the year! Were really excited to play with our new rhythm section Pete Rundle and Dan Bradley, as well as share the stage with the wicked Superglu and Bruce Willis. Best of all its absolutely free, so we’ll see you down there!
A big thankyou to everyone who came to see us play at Marwoods last Saturday! It felt great to play a little more stripped back and the show was extremely useful in terms of helping us see what works and what doesn’ t with the acoustic set so a big thanks to all! Our next full band show is at the Green Door Store March 10th with Superglu and our next acoustic show is March 20th at Velvet Jacks, hope to see you there!
Here is a video of our track Overturning from that Marwoods show filmed by the lovely Georgie d’Albiac Brewin.
